As per the CBSE Circular No. Acad-05/2020 dated 31/01/2020, ‘Restoring of Class X Board examination with effect from the Academic Year 2020-18’

Language 1 Final examination will be for 80 marks in each subject covering 100% syllabus of the subject. Marks and grades both will be awarded for individual subjects. Periodic written tests will be conducted. This will cover:

  • Cannot be changed or dropped in Class X.
  • Testing will be done.
  • Marks will not be included in the final aggregate but mentioned in the Report Card.

Concerning the restoring of the Class X Board examination with effect from the Academic Year 2020-18, the Assessment Scheme given below will be followed for Class IX/X in the Session 2020-18. At the end of the academic year the final examination will be conducted for the full syllabus.

I. MAIN SUBJECTS : Assessment will be done in 5 main subjects :

  • Language 1 (English)
  • Language 2 (Hindi/Sanskrit//French)
  • Science
  • Mathematics
  • Social Science

#Marks and Grades both will be awarded for individual subjects.

II. 6th Additional Subject : It is an optional subject. Students may choose any one of the following subjects offered by School. Marks will not be counted in the Scholastic achievement.

  • Foundation of Information Technology (FIT)
  • Elements of Book Keeping and Accountancy
  • Elements of Business
